Charles Marion (Chuck) Edwards, Republican, was elected to this seat in 2022.

N.C. House of Representatives District 85

NC's House District 85 is composed of Avery, McDowell, and Mitchell Counties.
Dudley Greene, Republican, was re-elected to this seat in 2022.

N.C. Senate District 47

NC's Senate District 47 is composed of Alleghany. Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Watauga, and Yancey Counties.
