Democrats at the SafePlace Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event

On October 6, 2018, Mitchell County SafePlace held their Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event on the lower street in Spruce Pine. For the first time a bunch of Mitchell County Democrats participated, and their efforts brought in the highest amount of donations this year! Annual “Hot Club” Fundraiser

Our annual HOT CLUB fundraising event was held Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Dispensary in Spruce Pine. The event included live music courtesy of “One Leg Up” jazz quintet, a silent auction, live cake auction, heavy hors d’ oeuvres, cash bar and door prizes. A fun time was had by all and much needed funds were raised to promote progressive causes.

2018 Liston B. Ramsey Dinner

Great venue, good food, and spirited speeches at the Liston B. Ramsey Dinner held at the Waynesville Inn and Golf Resort on May 5, 2018. Any registered Democrat in the 11th District can attend, consider joining us next year!
